An Indonesia eVisa, an All Indonesia arrival declaration and a Bali tourist levy receipt do different jobs. Completing one does not prove you have completed the others. Before paying for a new visa application, identify which document you actually need and whether your passport has a visa-free or arrival-visa option.
This guide separates the documents. For passport eligibility, use the requirement checker; for a wider Bali entry overview, see Bali visa requirements.
Compare the three steps
| Step | What it is for | Official starting point | What not to assume |
|---|---|---|---|
| Applicable visa or entry arrangement | The immigration permission or arrangement relevant to your passport and visit | Indonesian Immigration's visa services | An arrival declaration is not a substitute for a visa when one is needed |
| All Indonesia | An integrated arrival declaration covering immigration, customs, health and quarantine information | All Indonesia | A declaration QR code is not an issued eVisa |
| Bali tourist levy | A separate Bali tourism levy, with published exemptions | Love Bali | A levy payment does not issue immigration permission |
Use the current instructions on each official channel. A travel provider's combined checklist may mention all three, but that does not make them one product or require every traveler to pay the same charges.
Already have an All Indonesia QR code?
Find out whether your actual visa or entry arrangement is settled. A QR code confirming an arrival declaration should not be mistaken for the visa approval associated with your passport.
If you are relying on visa on arrival, check that your passport and purpose qualify. If you applied for an advance visa, check the issued document, its passport details and the applicable dates. Use the existing VoA vs eVisa comparison for that product decision rather than starting a second application just to collect another confirmation.
What happened to separate health and customs forms?
Official Immigration communications describe All Indonesia as integrating declarations that were previously separate. Older checklists may still mention SatuSehat and separate customs declarations as additional universal steps.
Follow the live All Indonesia instructions for your journey and any current route-specific health advice. Do not assume an old checklist's separate-form sequence remains current, and do not assume the integrated declaration removes every other document relevant to an individual traveler.
Is the Bali levy part of the visa fee?
Treat the levy as a separate item and check Love Bali for the current payment and exemption instructions. A private visa checkout's Government & Admin Fee or service fee should not be assumed to include the levy unless that inclusion is explicitly stated.
Keep the relevant confirmations distinct and available offline. For example, label saved files by purpose: visa document, arrival declaration and levy receipt where applicable. This avoids presenting a payment receipt when the requested document is an immigration approval.
Flying soon? Resolve the missing step
| What is missing | Start here |
|---|---|
| You have entry permission but no arrival declaration | The official All Indonesia service |
| You have not dealt with the applicable Bali levy | The official Love Bali instructions and exemption information |
| You do not know whether a visa is needed | The nationality checker and current official entry rules |
| You need a new advance visa application | The official eVisa route or optional private assistance, after checking the product and timing |
Only the final situation may call for a new visa service purchase. Our optional Urgent handling within 5 business hours adds US$69.99 per traveler. It prioritizes our preparation and submission work, not the immigration decision. It does not replace All Indonesia or the Bali levy process.
For a new eligible visa application, review processing options, compare full fees and choose Urgent handling if it fits your circumstances. If you already submitted an application, check that order before purchasing another.
